Anxiety is a natural response to uncertainty, but it doesn’t have to rule us. Scripture reminds us to bring our worries to God, not as a last resort but as a first step. Prayer transforms anxiety into trust, grounding us in the assurance that we are not carrying our burdens alone.

The root of anxiety is often a disconnect from the present moment. When we focus on the “what-ifs” of tomorrow, we miss the beauty and provision of today. Faith calls us back to the now, to the certainty that God is with us, providing exactly what we need for this moment.


How to Release Anxiety

  1. Turn Worry Into Prayer: Whenever anxiety arises, immediately bring it to God in prayer.
  2. Focus on Gratitude: Shift your thoughts to what you are thankful for in this moment.
  3. Practice Deep Breathing: With each breath, imagine releasing your worry and receiving God’s peace.

  • How can I cultivate a habit of turning anxiety into prayer?
  • What has God already provided that I can be grateful for today?
