Seasons of Waiting: Building Faith in the Unknown
For we live by faith, not by sight.
— 2 Corinthians 5:7
Faith often asks us to step forward without seeing the full picture. It calls us to trust in God’s plan, even when the path feels uncertain. The unknown can be unsettling, but it’s also where we learn to rely on God more deeply.
Imagine walking through a dense fog—you can only see a few steps ahead. But as you move forward, the way becomes clearer. Faith works the same way; it reveals the path as we trust and take the next step.
How to Build Faith in Uncertainty
- Meditate on God’s Faithfulness: Reflect on how He has guided you in the past.
- Take One Step at a Time: Focus on the immediate step before you, trusting that the rest will unfold.
- Seek Encouragement: Surround yourself with scripture, community, or reminders of God’s promises.
Ask Yourself:
- What unknowns am I facing today?
- How can I choose faith over fear in this moment?
- What step is God asking me to take right now?
An Invitation
Today, walk by faith, trusting that God is with you in the unknown. Each step you take is an act of trust, and He will guide you every step of the way.
