The Light Within: Resting in God's Timing

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.

Impatience is something we all wrestle with. We want answers now, progress now, results now. But God’s timing is never hurried, and it’s always perfect. Resting in His timing requires surrender and trust that He knows what we need better than we do.

There were times where I tried to force things to happen, only to face frustration. But when I finally surrendered to God’s timing, I saw how He was aligning everything in ways I couldn’t have imagined.

Why God’s Timing Matters

• It teaches us patience and trust.
• It ensures that everything happens at the right moment.
• It brings peace, even in waiting.

How to Rest in God’s Timing

1. Practice Patience: Remind yourself that waiting is part of the process.
2. Shift Your Focus: Instead of fixating on what’s next, focus on what God is doing now.
3. Stay in Prayer: Seek God’s guidance and peace as you wait.

Ask Yourself:

• What am I rushing that needs time to unfold?
• How can I find peace in the waiting?
• Where has God’s timing proven perfect in my past?
