Through God's Eyes: You Are Wonderfully Made

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

— Psalm 139:14

It’s easy to lose sight of our worth in a world that measures value by external accomplishments, appearances, or social status. But God’s Word tells us a different story: You are fearfully and wonderfully made. This isn’t just a poetic phrase—it’s a declaration of truth.

Every detail of who you are was intentionally designed by the Creator of the universe. Your quirks, talents, and even your perceived flaws are part of a masterpiece that reflects His glory. When we begin to see ourselves through God’s eyes, our perspective shifts. Instead of striving to measure up, we embrace the truth that we are already enough.

How to See Yourself as Wonderfully Made

  1. Reframe Negative Self-Talk: Replace critical thoughts with affirmations of God’s truth about you.
  2. Celebrate Your Uniqueness: Take note of the gifts and characteristics that make you who you are.
  3. Thank God for His Design: Offer gratitude for the way He created you, even in areas where you struggle to see beauty.

Introspection

  • What areas of my life do I struggle to see as wonderfully made?
  • How can I begin to see myself through God’s perspective?
  • What gifts has God given me that I often overlook?

Daily Affirmation

"I am fearfully and wonderfully made, a reflection of God’s perfect design. I embrace my worth and walk in His love today."
