Through God's Eyes: Releasing the Lies You’ve Believed

The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.

— Psalm 145:18

We all carry lies that have woven themselves into our thoughts—beliefs about our worth, our potential, or our ability to be loved. These lies can stem from past wounds, unmet expectations, or the quiet doubts that creep in during difficult seasons. But they are not the truth of who you are.

God invites us to step into the freedom that comes with His truth. He is near to all who call on Him in honesty, ready to reveal the love and grace that define us. Releasing these lies isn’t just about rejecting them—it’s about replacing them with the truths found in God’s Word. His truth sets us free, not only from deception but from the weight of living outside His promises.

How to Release Lies and Embrace Truth

  1. Expose the Lies: Take time to reflect on beliefs that don’t align with God’s Word. Write them down.
  2. Replace Lies with Scripture: Find verses that affirm the truth of God’s love and promises for you.
  3. Speak Truth Over Yourself: Regularly declare these truths out loud, letting them reshape your perspective.

Introspection

  • What lies have I believed about myself, my worth, or my potential?
  • How can I replace those lies with the truth of God’s Word?
  • What would it look like to fully embrace His truth in my daily life?

Daily Affirmation

"I release the lies that no longer serve me and embrace the truth of God’s love and promises. I am free, chosen, and deeply loved."
